"Shortage of round the clock staff as usual in smaller properties in Europe. Room did not have water kettle when we checked in, after 40mins of our reaching the doors . But an old lady arrived at 8 am and provided supplies. The surroundings are beautiful. Close the lake front, numerous pubs and restaurants. But they all close very early and open very late. "

"Such a beautiful hotel with lovely reception staff. We booked a junior suite which had a great view of the gardens and lake. Breakfast was amazing with so much choice. Comfortable large bed. Great food in the restaurant in the evening. Very close to the ferry and lots of restaurants. 10 minute walk to the train station. Lots of options for walks along the lake to other towns and can get the bus or train back. Would definitely recommend staying in Uberlingen and this lovely hotel. "
