"Incredible spot and home in Crete. It's about a 90 minute drive from Heraklion airport but if you're looking for a spot away from the crowds, this is the place for you (at least at the end of June). Can't say enough about the view and outdoor space. When we were home, we spent almost all of our time outside at the huge table or by the pool. The beach and sea are just a few steps down from the house. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were great and very helpful....

When we arrived after. 4 hour journey we were told by the owner she would have said no but because we had paid they could stay but on,y on their beds inside.
