"We arrived on the ferry by foot and were unable to secure transportation. We were told it was “only a mile and a half walk,” no mention that it was uphill the entire way. We ended up being able to catch a bus but had to wait 45 minutes at the ferry to get that bus. We arrived in the dark and were sent to that was up a poorly lit steep hill and then up a long flight of wet? Leaf covered concrete steps. It was clear what suitcases we had with us and our ages and we were not offered any assistance....

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. The setting is spectacular, the views are incredible, and the grounds are lovely. We really enjoyed taking the time to explore the property. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very well appointed. We especially appreciated the unlimited water, hot chocolate, tea, and Nespresso pods. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was wonderful, and having electrical outlets on every wall was surprisingly convenient. The food in the restaurant...

"Rooms spacious. Washrooms are huge and recently renovated. Food was delicious with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Views from dining room are exceptional. Hotel does smell a bit older, not surprisingly given its history. Remote location if someone is planning to spend a prolonged time."

"Travelled with my family and this was an excellent choice, stayed at the private room and was surprised at the lack of noise from the outside, very good acoustics. Highly recommend and the private bathroom was a plus. Very close to several tourists destinations."

"It was a clean room however the bathroom had issues with the toilet needs to be changed old too slow to fillup had plastic bottle in tank to help with filling tank !!!! Makes lots of noise No one around exceptin the morning for breakfast door entry very hard to unlok and lock Service of the room on demand staff in the morning very nice and helpfull"
