When they contacted us about our arrival and I mentioned we were doing some local wine tasting on the way to the lodge, they, without skipping a beat, said they'd be sure to put some wine glasses in our room. "We had a very nice 1 night stay. Our cabin was comfortable, clean and quiet. Only 2 dinner options nearby, so I recommend ordering food to go from the cafe and eating in your cabin to avoid a long wait. There is also a beautiful little walk to the "Rogue River Gorge" across from the cabins. It was so beautiful, highly recommend. "

"Beautiful setting. I stayed with wife and 3 kids in a well-preserved older house (Callaghan). It was immaculately clean and thoughtfully appointed. I enjoyed reading the fly-fishing lore in the inn manual, and seeing all the photographs, although I don't fish myself. The river is a short trail off the back of the house. There is no cell data access at this location and no wi-fi at the lodge either which I liked. Steak at the restaurant was excellent but expensive as with most remote locations. River view off the back of the restaurant is unreal. I only stayed here because of good access to Crater Lake, but I enjoyed the home and river just as much as CL. "

"I was on the road looking for a place to stay on the inexpensive side. I was so happy I ran into this hotel. It’s a little dated as the TV is the old-school kind. But this customer service cleanliness and atmosphere well made up for it. Across the street is a very good place to eat. Called Bigfoot. Don’t pass it up."
