"Beautiful property with very nice owners. Was disappointed that I had booked a specific room with king bed and was given a different one with a normal double. Also absolutely no breakfast provided. I had paid for just the room but wrongly had assumed that we would be able to pay for breakfast but there was nothing. Really should specify that they are not doing breakfast when it is clearly a B&B according to their sign and previous reviews. The TV in the room is very small and has bad buffering...

"We were walking The Dales Way and arrived on a very wet Sunday afternoon. The staff at the pub were extremely welcoming and reserved us a table for dinner. The shepherds hut was lovely and cosy (underfloor heating), exactly what we needed after a long wet walk! The breakfast hamper was very welcome too."

"Didn’t even end up staying here as after I booked and rang them to find the exact location of the hotel, they told me they didn’t have space and re-directed me a 20 minute walk to another property that was not acceptable at all.
