"Very nice hotel with personal service. Our room was very nice with comfortable bed, really nice bathroom and coffee machine. Breakfast was superb. The location is very peaceful, restaurants are a few blocks away, but you never hear any noise from them. Hotel is a quick 5 minute walk from the port where you will arrive on a very comfortable, fast ferry. "

"It was a beautifully restored mansion. We were in the basement but there was plenty of sunlight streaming in from windows. Bedroom was in upstairs loft so stairs to navigate . Bathroom downstairs. Everything updated and very clean. Breakfast was delicious, from granola with fruit to eggs and small spinach pies. Tasty orange cake to top it off! Lovely place with garden and resident tortoise and areas to sit outside with a glass of wine. Highly recommend and use the donkeys to carry luggage!"

"Great boutique hotel (family owned & operated) a relative short walk (but up hill) from the ferry port and shops & restaurants. The hotel has a great old world Greek vibe with a very friendly snd helpful staff. I would definitely stay here again if I ever visit Hydra again. "
