"The hotel is vintage in age, design and decor - so different from "seen one, seen them all" modern facilities. Location is close to town but feels rural and a bit rustic - just what we look for in lodgings while on holiday. "Staff were very friendly and helpful. The property was under construction at the time but everything was very clean and quiet. The location could not be better being at the harbor - 1 minute walk to Foynhagen, great restaurants, and quick 15-minute walk either to Slottsfjellet or the train station. We will happily return."

"The customer service was exemplary! She gave us advice, told us quickly the layout of this sweet little city, arranged a taxi for us the next morning and it’s an easy walk from the train station! The snacks, light dinner and huge breakfast were perfect!"
