"This is a remote town in the West Fjords and it was after the main season so choices for accommodation, dining, and food shopping were limited. The guesthouse and our room was fine. It was disappointing to find that they were not providing breakfast, as indicated on the reservation, and the internet was down (and had been for a while according to other reviews). The host (we never saw him, we contacted him by phone to learn about breakfast and the internet) was pleasant but no help."

"What a pleasant hotel and stay! We enjoyed the remote, breathtaking setting, delicious meals and friendly staff. The hotel is very remote, so plan accordingly. We had dinner and breakfast there- all delicious, but if you plan to stay longer, it's quite a far drive to any restaurants. The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"While this place is further out, it’s definitely worth it. The views were incredible. It’s very quiet. The beach is very close. We ate dinner there. It was extremely good. All of the staff were very friendly."

"We so enjoyed the location and the cleanliness of the hotel. We appreciated the "honest" bar, and enjoyed our wine. The beds were great, plenty of light in the room. The only downside is you are expected to pay to enjoy the sauna. After traveling so far to come to the fjords, we were disappointed and chose not to add to the bill. The staff in the breakfast room was extremely helpful and pleasant, thank you!"

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. Highlight of the property. Beautiful view and conveniently located. Noisy property though, so if you're a light sleeper it'll be a problem."

"The tiny house was exactly as advertised. Clean, well stocked with the essentials and very modern decor. The view was amazing and there is a hot pool just 5 mins down the road overlooking the fjord. Would 100% book again."
