"This hotel is in a great location and the staff was fantastic. However, there is no AC so you have to sleep with the windows open. In the summer, with almost 24 hours of daylight, this can be a challenge. Also, you hear people yelling and talking outside ALL night long. This also goes for vehicles ..."

Popular places to visit

Adventurous hike up to this waterfall. The hike is called Glymur. We had to walk through knee high water, jump rocks, use ropes to climb up steep cliffs, cross multiple rivers, walk on side of cliffs using narrow pathways, and walk through slippery mountain sides. Well worth it and made it even more exciting of a hike. I would suggest going here when visiting Iceland. It's approximately 1 hour and a half from Reykjavik. I took this photo while I was sitting on the side of a cliff overlooking the waterfall. Birds were flying side to side to their nests. It was truely paradise. #glymur #iceland #paradise #hikes #adventure # travel
