"We chose this cabin for the cosy part of our winter trip to Iceland. We had the perfect time: aurora borealis dancing over the sky, while we were soaking in the hot pot, lake and mountains covered in snow. The house is so nicely designed, so cosy and lovely. "We had a total of 12 people in our group and this property setup was perfect. People ages 8 months to 65 years. Location was great for exploring Snaefellness but not too far away from Reykjavik to discourage golden circle activities. Road is pretty easy to find, don’t need 4x4 but take it slow. Need cell phone access for getting to the property. We got to see northern lights while there so that was nice. Absolutely recommend staying here"

"Beautiful homes; we would definitely return! 10 of us enjoyed our stay at these two lovely homes. Both houses were clean, spacious, and well stocked. The windows in the main house were especially wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and dishes for our large group to have home cooked meals at the large table. We had trouble getting the lock box open (likely frozen shut) and the key to the second cottage was tricky / sticky and needed some extra finesse to get in/out....

"We so enjoyed staying in this lovely house! We visited in August and were very lucky with the weather, so were able to take advantage of the large deck and its amazing views. We traveled with another couple, and the house was a perfect size for the four of us.
