"Lovely trip, great location and hotel was beautiful, bedroom lovely. Bed a bit hard, a mattress topper would go a long way, but didn't detract much."

"What a lovely place to stay. A convenient location on the A66 (near to Scotch Corner). Beatiful views from the back of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful from start to finish. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals in the bar area. Rooms were nice and comfortable with a very spacious bathroom and great shower. The only downside was that we were in Room 8 which was above the kitchen which was a bit on the noisey side. Will definitely use again but would bring ear plugs next time."

"What a lovely hotel in excellent settings. Staff were super friendly and loved our doys. Great food for evening meals and breakfast all cooked to order. Can't believe it is only ranked as a 3 star as deserves so much more."
