"We only stayed for one night we weren't from the area and the workers were super friendly. And the rooms were clean and cozy. No complaints at all. If we are ever in the area again we will be staying there again."

"This is the only hotel in Lynchburg that abides by taking in only service dogs and keeping them limited to first floor and cleaning all the rooms throughly for danger. Place is great for people who have allergy to animal dander. I am going to notify the program that tracks hotels that limit pets and emotionally comfort animals which are not trained as professional service dogs. Thanks for great stay. Rudy"

"If you are looking for a fun time at the lake mixed with a glimpse of the 18th century way of life, this is it. Spectacular views, nature on the doorstep, fish, swim, kayak, paddle board or just relax on the porch. Comfy beds, clean linens and the cabin is a real slice of history (with heat and AC)We are planning trip #3."

"Communication was perfect. The cabin was perfectly stocked clean and extremely comfortable. This place was so peaceful and relaxing and was just perfect for our trip. It exceeded our expectations and we will book again. We relaxed enjoyed the amazing lakefront views. We spent time on the dock and in the water and had coffee and breakfast on the great deck every morning. 100 percent recommend this place!"

"The view was spectacular and this part of the lake was very quiet and peaceful. We really got a chance to unwind and simply breathe fresh air. Definitely worth visiting. The host was very responsive and quick to answer questions. Highly recommend this cabin."
