"Very good location by the lake. We went in early October, a group of 5 couples. There were more than enough table ware, glasses ware, utensils, pots & pans, baking trays & dishes for a large party of 10 adults. Food Lion grocery store is about 10 to 15 minutes drive, so there is no need to pack from home. The kitchen itself is stocked with lot of condiments and spices. You will only need to bring perishable groceries. Host are very responsive to all your questions or concerns. I highly recommend this place for large group of adults or multiple families."

"We held a men’s cancer retreat at this property. It is an amazing property. The house is absolutely gorgeous, has an incredibly equipped kitchen and so many comfortable seating areas I don’t think I was able to try them all. The bedrooms are absolutely beautiful and comfortable. The bathrooms look like something out of a designer showcase yet are incredibly functional. The property itself has an amazing yard with every amenity you can imagine overlooking a beautiful lake. The new two story boathouse made me never want to leave. We had men out on the lake in kayaks, playing games, in the hot tub, and I thoroughly enjoyed my naps in the hammocks. We can’t wait to come back."

"We had a great time and the location was beautiful! I would recommend a handyman come in to fix the ice maker since there’s only one to supply the entire house. General outside clean up and the deck needs to be fix at the bottom of the deck. The 2x12 is broken."

"Our family had an incredible stay. The property was absolutely beautiful with plenty of amenities to keep everyone fed and entertained. A huge shout out to Dan, the owner, who was right on top of everything to make sure our visit was awesome. I highly recommend to anyone considering a trip to Lake Anna."

"Everything went okay and we enjoyed our stay for 4 days and 3 nights.Chris (host) was excellent in communication. Minor Issues:1. water in the kitchen sink has low pressure 2. Flopper valve in the basement toilet needs to be replaced. Highly recommended!"

"Beautiful home; very nice owner; but the house is not on, adjacent to, or near Anna Lake. The pictures and description make it seem like the home is close to the lake and it simply is not. It's a good 30 minute walk or 15 minute ride to the lake. One needs to bring an SUV or other vehicle to transport the kayaks to the water. Renters should be aware that the home is not a lake home or lake-adjacent. Again, the home is nice and the owner is friendly, but its overpriced for its location."

"View was good. Interior of house was fine. Clean and nice set up. Garage play room-kids loved it. Two minor issues quickly resolved by host’s representatives. The outside property needs attention—upper deck had mold-needs a good cleaning. Screens need to be removed and hosed down to remove all the dead gnats. Screened in porch on the lower level—cushions need a good cleaning and the roof leaks. Boat deck—screened in porch—cushions need a good cleaning. Table is very dirty and needs a good cleaning. There are some soft wood planks on the deck that need to be replaced-safety hazard."
