"the property is good and spacious and located very close to the town. convenient to everything in Wānaka. there are only 2 things drop my satisfaction. first, the bed size seems not a king but a queen. some of the applicants are not clean, hair dryer, towel, cookers etc. but overall is good. I will rate 8 out of 10 and if those could be improved, surely will come back again "

"Fantastic modern property, very warm and quiet. The instructions to not permit sports equipment inside and also have the garage locked off as a potential alternative for sports equipment storage was less than ideal. Off street park on the driveway was handy to the front door. Property manager was great to deal with and the instructions were very clear and well thought out. Overall a very enjoyable and comfortable stay."

"Great location and unit overall. The shower was a bit disappointing after a few days hiking without a shower however this was explained on the instructions inside once we checked in (although we only read this detail once the shower went cold). I can’t remember if it was advertised as having permanent residents upstairs, however there are."

"Warm and comfortable house with everything we needed for our holiday. The views from the property are wonderful, with great walking/biking tracks on the doorstep. A short drive to Wanaka and good access for the ski fields. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back again one day, many thanks to the hosts."

We left some coats in the cupboard which the owner nicely couriered back to us, at our request, once he was 100% positive that we had paid the courier fee. "We loved this location, a few minutes' walk to the wonderful Makarora river braidplain. The house is unique: rustic and a little run down. Comfortable enough if you aren't expecting luxury. Some things could use a little updating (i.e. floors and bath fittings) but all this is secondary to the stunning landscape. We enjoyed our 10 days exploring the area--be sure to check out The Craypot fish and chippie at the end of the road over Haast Pass and the Wilkin Jet Boat tours."
