"As a little motel close to a festival venue, the Black Bear Lodge was just what I was looking for. I was prepared for it to be small and basic and for the decor to be somewhat dated. "We thoroughly loved our stay! Simple but perfect. 3 full bathrooms was great!! Close enough to walk to a great coffee shop and enjoy the beautiful sites. A/C always appreciated in the warm weather (thank you!). We would stay here again for sure. "

"Very nice resort, great pool and hot tub.Room was very clean and had a complete kitchen.
The game room was decent, but nothing to write home about.
Only issue was the coffee maker did not have the pot to go with it. I had to put my cup under the spout and push up against the coffee maker nozzle with my fingers to coax the hot coffee to come out! HOT coffee which my fingers didn’t enjoy."
"Great stay for our bi-annual friends reunion! This place had everything - the lake was well-equipped with kayaks, mini kayaks for the kids, pedal boat, etc. With comfortable sleeping arrangements for everyone, and enough plates bowls cups and a big table to gather around. Grill, seating areas for reading or morning coffees, fire pit, hot tub. And of course the sauna! Everything worked great and was so comfortable for our stay. Great communication from our host - absolutely would recommend!!"

"We were a family of 8 with our dog and the house was exactly as described. Beautiful water, very clean and great for swimming and kayaking. The hot tub and sauna were an extra bonus. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The decks overlooking the water were great. Very relaxing! Nataliya quickly answered any questions we had. Great host! Would highly recommend. "
