"Very attentive, enthusiatic team running check ins and the bar/kitchen. Rooms are a little tired, but the location is great. Huge courtyard and plenty of indoor seating for dining/drinking. Beer battered Fish and Chips highly recommended with a pint of Prince Bishop. Food, Beers and accommodation all very good value."

"What a gorgeous lodge. The pictures don’t do it justice, it’s even nicer in person. The hot tub was perfect and every item is thought of. A lovely touch - bottle of Prosecco and cheese and crackers in the fridge. There are robes for everyone when you get out of the hot tub and plenty of towels. The newly built pool, steam room and sauna was fabulous. We had no expectations as there isn’t much publicity about it. You need to book a slot in advance and it only opens 9-5 but it was empty both times...

"We loved our stay here. After a horrible nine hour journey we were pretty miserable when we arrived. However, when we saw the cottage we were delighted! The pictures absolutely do not do it justice. It’s well maintained, clean and comfortable. The beds were super comfy too. We were delighted to see the goats out the front the next morning and raced out to chat to them 😀 The owners are really friendly and can’t do enough for you. If we can face the journey again we will be back and for longer! "
