Huissen is also close to the German border and in terms of nature, the IJssel / Rhine / Linge landscape is a fantastic place for cycling and walking routes. The Veluwe is also a stone's throw away. There are two museums, the Hof van Hessen City Museum, a historical museum, and the Horticultural Museum De Hofstèéj.
