"The place is very nice, with a nice breakfast and great veiws of all of the ruins in the area from the roof. However, it is a hotel, not a house. When we arrived, they said they had received no notification from VRBO about out reservation, so we had to pay again when we checked in."

"The Sacred Valley is indeed just that it has a magic about it that is truly extraordinary. The house exceeded my expectations in all respects not something that is my universal experience with a number of previous rentals. Bruno was a great host and helped with a number of arrangements and contacts whilst we were there, and with a contact for arranging out trip to Machu Pichu. "I booked and had a confirmation number. Drove for hours to get there. The road was blocked so we eight had to turn around and try another way. When the host EVENTUALLY answered, he said he had no booking! He said Expedia never communicated with him. We had to go from door to door to find somewhere that could take 8 people. Had to use one hotel for half the time and another for the rest of the time. "

Just wow! Totally unique.

"Totally unique amazing architectural piece of art. The organic structure is so cool. Stayed in a delux suite with jacuzzi. Room was fabulous (if more than a little quirky!) you have to forgive some of the shortcomings due to the design (not the best fitting windows, access down track a little hard for taxis, asking them to turn on hot water for jacuzzi). No room terrace/balcony but plenty of communal sitting areas, balcony and beautiful gardens sitting watching hummingbirds. 25 minutes to Ollytaytambo for Machu Picchu and 90 minutes from Cusco (try the route back with a taxi tour half day to Maras, Moray and Chincherro for 250 Sol = £50) The staff are really friendly and trying very hard, but there are some aspects the management need to pay attention to in order to fully present this incredible hotel. We pre-ordered dinner for 8pm and got a phone call at 7:50 saying it was on the table going cold and could we come right now, but then they didn’t serve drinks or deserts. Vegetarian options limited and I paid the same for a full beef and risotto dish without the beef. Breakfast however was amazing with lovely food, beautiful presentation and great unique choices. Almost there but not quite but still worth it! "
