This holiday home in the mountaineering village of Huettschlag in Salzburgerland, close to the Grossarl-Dorfgastein ski area, offers a fantastic view of the surrounding mountain landscape of the Hohe Tauern National Park. Here, you will find a combination of unspoilt nature with the village character of the two communities of Grossarl and Hüttschlag and the atmosphere of a modern winter sports area with a snow-sure ski resort. With 70 kilometres of pistes and 17 lifts, the Grossarltal - Dorfgastein ski area has nothing to be ashamed of. In winter, the ski bus stops at the Grossarltal-Dorfgastein ski area, which is 7 km away by car.
The Alpendorf ski area in St. Johann im Pongau, which has direct access to the Snow Space Salzburg and Shuttleberg Flachauwinkl-Kleinarl ski areas and 210 kilometres of pistes, is highly recommended. Grossarltal is a member of Ski Amade, Austria's largest ski area, with 760 kilometres of pistes and 270 lifts. A free ski bus takes you to the cable car.
The small Hahnbaum ski area, with 7 kilometres of pistes, is ideal for beginners. It is located near the town centre of St. Johann im Pongau.
