"This is a cozy property in a very rural setting. The host is extremely responsive and very thorough. It is quiet and private. The furniture and bed are very comfortable. The wood burning stove is a pellet stove which provides enough heat to take the edge off. The hot tub could comfortably fit 4 people. The Village of Cold Spring is less than 10 minutes away, as is the Interstate 84 bridge across the Hudson. If you want to make your own food, bring it. There is no grocery store nearby."

"Charming house with a wonderful view. We got away from the city for a while and decompressed. Enjoyed the wonderful fireplace and spacious deck, early morning coffee with the sunrise. Enjoyed a full moon with a walk in the woods, something my wife and I have never done. Something we will always remember."

"We were a family of five, four adults and one child. The rental was very comfortable and stocked better than any vacation rental we’ve stayed in before. Communication with the host was easy. The location is convenient to all major highways in the Hudson Valley. The town was very close, but you feel like you are in the country! We would definitely stay here again!"

"This is a great place to stay. Clean and comfy and in a beautiful area. We didn't find the promised linens for the sofa bed, but maybe we just weren't looking in the right place. Other than that, we were very pleased... do pay attention to the notes about the stairs... there are a fair few of them."

"This cottage is this perfect place for a quick little getaway! We had the most perfect lazy stay for the weekend secluded from the city. Just sitting outside the cottage watching the lake in silence was so peaceful. The host was also extremely responsive and detailed in her messages. Would highly recommend."

"Older manufactured home has been updated. We appreciated that each area had its own mini split unit for individual climate control. Area felt safe and quiet. Good hot water and water pressure. Kitchen was stocked for stovetop cooking but not much for baking, and no water glasses. (We just drank everything from the coffee cups.) Split bedroom layout was good for two couples. "
