"We really enjoyed our stay. Very relaxing, quiet neighborhood, lake in back yard. We did kayak on Friday and my son brought his Jon Boat down so we took advantage of the little dock and tied up there when not fishing (Mitchells Point Marina is less than 5 minutes away). House was clean, nicely equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Pots, pans, spices, utensils, 2 grills, plenty of towels, sheets were nice, bed's were comfortable."

"This is our fifth year visiting Smith Mountain Lake and our first staying at this cabin. It was clean, well-stocked, and the floating dock was a huge bonus with the low water levels from the drought! It’s a great spot for some time at the lake."

"Hands down the best family vacation we have ever had. We are a beach family and this year decided to try something different because we had friends who have been coming to SML for their family vaca for years. We had 13 people. 5 kids under 10. With kids, this was the most stressfree vacation because everything was at our fingertips. If they wanted to swim, go have it, if they wanted fish, right there, paddleboards, and kayaks right there and we brought our own floats to float around the cove. Literally didn't have to pack up, haul everything to the beach, be on wave and ocean duty with the kiddos and then pack it all back up and lug it back to the place you're staying. Everything was right there and felt no need to leave except we did rent a pontoon and boated and tubed and explored several days. Just amazing. We will be back to SML for family vacation. The host was amazing with communication, never had to wait on an answer for anything. We noticed this was one of few properties that isn't on a huge hill which made it even nicer. Even with low water, the dock was plenty deep enough to swim off of and while I worried the dock was so high and kids falling off, apparently that was their highlight lol. They were jumping off it. Who knew. Great Great vacation."
