"The way the 3rd bedroom was makeshift in the basement was not really stated well. It was very musty. Also, the only way from inside the house to the 3 bedroom in the basement was a very unsafe stairway. Thirdly, the Jack and Jill bathroom is only accessible through the bedrooms. The lake was pretty, kayaks were a great bonus."

"Lovely home that had a wonderful yard for our pups and a welcoming spirit in the home. All the details were provided and the location was quiet and safe. We so appreciated the cleanliness, little personal touches and the home like feel. Thank you!!!"

"Very nice, peaceful cabin on a great golf course. Everything was very clean and well kept and ready for guests!"

"A True Piece of Heaven! We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful property! Reading the welcome book and learning that this home was a true labor of love built and remodeled for the hosts' mother made our time here feel even more meaningful. You can absolutely feel the warmth, history, and decades of love in every corner—it has the coziest, most comforting "grandma's house" feel. The home was incredibly clean, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. A huge bonus: the kids slept...

"We have stayed here in the past. This experience was as good as the last time. Very very clean. Neighborhood very quiet. Would stay here again and would highly recommend this to anyone else."

"Nice location and good communication from the owner. "

"We enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake, toes in the water, evening fire on the beach. Only a short walk into downtown Alpena where we listened to live music and sampled from the local breweries. Restaurant recommendations in the welcome and review book were very helpful"
