"Great stay! Staff was very friendly and lots of amenities "

"We arrived a week before derby in hopes of checking off a large bucket list. The historical Galt House was part of that for me. Our room was halfway clean as evidenced by previous patron’s hair in the bathroom and nail clippings beside the bed. The marijuana smell flowing down the hall was accompanied by non-stop pounding music. The front desk was notified several times without anyone ever coming up to stop the incessant partying. The wall unit A/C was loud, filthy & barely doing it’s job the whole time. This hotel has 2 towers & the west tower had staff at the front desk twice. The hotel has no security features (the doors unlocked & unmanned, the elevator key access not activated). Miraculously the day the bulk of derby goers arrived the common areas were tidied up. We plan on making derby a habit but sadly not at this location."

"The rooms are adequate the bed is comfortable and the bathroom is acceptable. However the general maintenance of the building needs attention. Dirty windows, dirty railings, dirty stairways. But inside the room everything was fine. I slept really well mainly because was very quiet"

"Everything was fine. Just a couple of broken items in room but nothing major. Very clean and comfortable."

"Pool was nice, room needed a little work, overall à good stay for the price. Only problem I really had was when I rented the room it stated that there were queen sized beds in the room, but they were full sized beds. We really needed the queens, so we won’t likely stay here again unless we only need one king bed. "

"We had such a wonderful stay - it was perfect for our family with three kids. This home was clean, beautifully decorated, everything was functional (hot tub, laundry, kitchen appliances, etc.) The location was wonderful as well - just across the water from Louisville… We were never more than 10-15 mins from wherever we wanted to go. When we come back, we will definitely try to stay here again. Thank you for a great stay!"
