"Such a lovely place to stay. We were so close to Sunday River for fall activities. Carol was extremely communicative and helpful all weekend. Our large group fit comfortably even with dogs. We especially enjoyed using the sauna and taking some nature walks to enjoy the beauty of fall in Maine. Thank you again for everything!!"

"Lovely downstairs accommodations, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable sofa, spacious living area, nice bathroom. A couple of deck chairs for enjoying the sunset might have been nice; just a picnic table was available.Master sleeping area upstairs was only accessible via a narrow circular staircase. No bathroom upstairs, so had to descend staircase if facilities were needed during the night. (Dangerous!) Queen bed was very firm, too hard in our opinion."

"We had a GREAT stay. Plenty to keep the 6 teenagers busy and entertained. Plenty of room for 12 of us total!! We took the quick walk don’t the river eight at sunset, very pretty and easy to get to!! What a great weekend!!"

"Cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Host was a great communicator and was responsive to questions. Check in and out was stress free. The saltwater hot tub was clean and a nice addition to our stay. Bed linens were clean and cozy. Highly recommend."

"Enjoyed a great winter long weekend at Black Mountain with friends. Cabin is fantastic! Kitchen is well supplied, propane stove is instant coziness, and a Hot Tub after a day of skiing or being out in the cold just cannot be beat!"

"We had an amazing stay at this house and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location was incredibly convenient (only about 20 minutes from Sunday River) which made getting to and from the mountain quick. Seth was an outstanding host from start to finish. He was extremely responsive, easy to communicate with, and always willing to help with any questions we had, whether it was about the house or local recommendations. The house itself was perfect for our group of 10. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out comfortably while still having great common areas to hang out together. Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay, and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient spot near Sunday River. We’d happily stay here again! PS… We also recommend the Brick & Stone Tavern for dinner :) "
