"The cleanliness of the room was in question with the fact that no dusting was done!! Also there should be extra blankets in the room as well!! Staff was very helpful and friendly"

"The rooms are clean and bed quite comfortable. The continental breakfast had good variety and dining area nice and clean. Lobby has a great view of Lake Superior, just several yards away, with deck access. Deck sparsely furnished. It has a concrete deck surface. Overall the interior and exterior of building is worn and needs remodeling. The building is not handicapped accessible at all, — but they don’t claim to be either. The staff was very friendly and helpful."

"No staff cleaning anything. We were greeted with over full garbage cans outside the door. Dirty stained carpeting throughout the building with a musty smell. Our room had a strange smell to it as if they sprayed something to cover up the faint cigarette smell. The tip envelope in our room said the person that cleaned the room was named smoky. Even though we had the room booked for two nights there was no room service of any sort. If you needed new towels you needed to go ask at the front door...

"Clean hotel right on the water! We enjoyed the popcorn maker in the lobby and coffee and tea in the morning. Friendly staff. Walkable to everywhere in town! Great spot!"
