"Quick overnight stop before heading to Whistler and was pleasantly surprised how big the rooms were and the free welcome drink vouchers as well as nice storage for our mountain bikes. Carpet was little old and dated but the room was over all very comfortable for family of three. The location was so convenient to downtown for late night dinner. We really enjoyed the hot buffet breakfast which was hearty and wide variety to make us happy and full to head on to Canada. I will definitely stay at Oxford again."

"All things considered, this place was great for my needs. Firstly, it was reasonable in price. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is near three fast food options and a gas station with good gas prices. It is a very very quiet place. I did not have breakfast. The pool was closed, I didn’t care. The place is dated, but it’s good enough once you consider the price. The television had good enough options. I would stay here again. Remember, if you book, it is a budget friendly motel and if you want that, it’s a fantastic option for under 100 bucks a night, you can’t beat it."

"We recently stayed several weeks in Cobblestone Cottage in Ferndale and enjoyed it enormously. The house was nicely decorated and arranged and comfortable in every way (beds, couch, chairs, kitchen table). It is located in a quiet somewhat rural neighborhood and while there is a street nearby it has very little traffic or noise. What noise there is was created by the natural elements nearby, primarily a herd of cows. We greatly enjoyed our nightly, dinnertime cattle drive past the fence of the property, with the animals more or less energetic on different days. The town of Ferndale had some good restaurants and a great supermarket (Hagens) that was much closer and much better than the Safeways and Fred Myers that we had been using in previous stops this summer. Jean and Brandt were gracious hosts and excellent communicators. The guide they left about the area was terrific and we had great success using it. The hike to Fragrance Lake, Hovander Park and Mount Baker were favorites, as was a day trip into Vancouver spent in Queen Elizabeth Park with lunch at Seasons Restaurant. We definitely hope to be back to the Cottage."

"Caitlin’s home is beautiful, well equipped, and thoughtfully decorated. It exceeded our expectations and everyone enjoyed the stay. We were attending a wedding nearby and were able to cook a few meals and relax. The kitchen is amazing - very well equipped and inspiring. The yard and gardens remind me of an English country estate. Communication with Caitlin was very easy and quick. The downstairs master was perfect for my elderly mother and we stayed upstairs with our daughter and son-in-law. The area is very quiet and peaceful. We will be looking for a reason to stay again!"
