I have always viewed hotel quality as Embassy Suites, then Red Lion then Hilton when making reservations. I chose Red Lion because it was close for visiting family and the picture on the web site showed a full breakfast. When they arrived they were placed in a room in which the the front door didn't work. They were told by the staff that someone would have to stay in the room to open the door for the others, until they could get the door fixed. There was only one master key and the staff would have to come upstairs to unlock the door for they otherwise. The breakfast was fruit loops (stale), frosted flakes, and individual packets of oatmeal. While we were out the next day, they were called to immediately return to move into another room which was DOWNGRADED, because they would have to remove the door to fix it. All in all, it was a Motel Six experience in a 4 star hotel.
