Honestly I wasn’t expecting much from this place but it blew me away with the renovations. For what they charge, the room easily could have been a 4star hotel. Staff was amazing, helpful and polite. I’m not sure about the chain, but THIS location is top tier! I’d definitely stay there again!

The room was clean and ample. The bed was fine. Bathroom area was large worth the restroom having a separate closed area. Shampoo, bath gel, body lotion, mouth wash, make up remover and toothbrushes available. 4 large towels plus hand towels. Microwave and fridge. AC was cool. Some traffic noise but does not disturb sleep. Clerk was very nice and I got an early check in.

Great place to stay!

From the time I stepped into the lobby, I was instantly greeted...the female hotel clerk was very nice and it was easy to check in...the room I had was a smokers room but didn't even smell of smoke at all...😊😊😊 The room was clean and bed was fully made up... bathroom was very clean as well ...the housekeeping staff did an excellent job...this was a nice place to stay...would definitely come back...

I usually stay at the Hilton but the rooms and facilities are better at The Palace. Even though it’s not in an ideal neighborhood, I felt safe. The hotel is also right next door to several good restaurants, a planet fitness and Specs. And you can’t beat the price.

It was super clean and had extra of everything. I’ve been to a couple hotels and none have had extra toothbrushes in the restroom. Maybe it’s just me but I think for the price and what they offer it’s nice.

Great motel near the highway

This is a newer motel. Rooms are big, spacious and modern, Decor is pretty new. Rooms are cleaned daily. It is near a major highway, so it is easy to get around Houston. The price is, IMO, appropriate for this type of property

I was really surprised how nice that place was for the price. Little diamond in the rough. Room was spotless with modern finishes. Brightly lit secure parking lot. You're not going to beat that place for price in that area

This place is absolutely a hidden gem of Houston. The staff were friendly, and the room was in brand-new condition. I go to Houston a lot, so I have stayed at different hotels in the area. They used to have a unique “smell” which most of the time made me feel uncomfortable, but this Palace Inn wasn’t like that. Definitely will come back.
