"The cabin was cozy, clean and centrally located - within a 3-4 hour drive of Seward, Denali and Homer, 35 minutes from Anchorage. The hosts were nice people, offering suggestions on food and activities. The view of Mirror Lake was spectacular, especially at sunset."

"The place was great. Very comfortable. Newly updated. Outside of Anchorage but still close enough to the city and airport. The area had cute restaurants and you could drive up Mt Baldy behind the area and look over the valley or go hiking. We actually saw Mt McKinley from the top of Mt Baldy one sunny day. You are in the valley a little closer to a start of the drive to Denali. I would highly recommend this house if visiting Alaska. "

"Beautiful surroundings. Didn't understand the "electronic" keypad 'appears' only when a certain icon to touched--couldn't get in at 2:30am--so had to call the Vrbo people. He had no idea how to help us. We eventually accidentally touched the right spot on the keypad and was able to make the keypad appear. Crazy that this wasn't in the instructions. Otherwise, beautiful, well appointed, great kitchen, clean ande lovely stay!"

"My husband and I were in town for a sports tournament and wanted a “getaway” in the process. This property fit the bill. We appreciated that multiple high schools were an easy commute for the events we needed to attend. Everything was well executed. We really could not have asked for a nicer place to stay. It’s was clean, quiet and felt like home. The finishing touches and attention to detail helped to make this place extra special. I would highly recommend this property! A true gem!"

"We had a great stay in this Yurt as a stop along our way north to Denali. Perfectly accommodated our family which included 3 boys. My youngest enjoyed the swing outside, and I’ve always wanted to stay in a yurt. Added bonus was a tour of the sled-dog dogstead in the morning- so glad we decided to add that on to our booking. Beds were comfortable, and amenities as described. Would love to come back again, perhaps in the fall."

"Property and furnishings were fine but some things were very frustrating and in some cases concerning. 1. We were instructed to park in back along the alley way. After going through an alley with grass sometimes 3 feet tall (fire hazard?) we found that lower in the arrival instructions it says we can park on street. Please correct these conflicting instructions and/or have someone mow the grass in the alley. 2. First stop was bathroom only to find someone had left me a welcome gift as there...

"Upon arrival, the place was really dirty. The upstairs dogs had complete run of the yards, so ours was messy and they kept peeking in our LR window (we were basement), so our dog barked. The host was great! Refunded our cleaning deposit. The home was in a great location and was cute. I think we were the first rental after a long vacancy and with the host being remote, things got forgotten. Once the host returns, things should improve."
