"A beautiful hotel inside and out. I understand it’s the beginning of their busy season… But they need to refresh especially the outside seating and outside area. Also, I did have an unfortunate experience with a worker who I felt to be a little condescending. Otherwise a beautiful room. "

"We had a great stay at The Dupont Circle Hotel. They had very accommodating and friendly staff. We stayed in a classic king room, it was comfortable and clean. There was a nice restaurant as well, but we didn’t get a chance to try it out. Great location, near metro station and restaurants/ stores. We would stay here again! "

"It was a decent stay. Overall the staff was lovely but I wasn’t able to connect my phone to the tv to watch my shows/ movies. My trip was mostly to relax and get away from home and I couldn’t watch anything I wanted to. Also the people who were checking in right before me were offered water and I wasn’t. But like I said the staff was great. "

"We enjoyed our stay at the Kimpton Banneker. The room was big and everything was clean. The happy hour drinks were a nice surprise. The location was great. We took advantage of the free bicycles to ride down to the Monument. The only cons were that our room was not ready at check in time. We hoped to wait for our room to be available on the rooftop, but were disappointed to discover that it is not open to the public. The pictures on the hotel site and on Expedia show the beautiful rooftop but it is only open for private events. "

"Very good location - walkable yo shops , safeway grocery, liquor. Our room's entry door lock 'secret' # ...suddenly stopped working one night, upon our return. That was very disappointing ( and potentially dangerous). Called the given phone # and eventually had it reconciled. Of course the extremely small rooms were awkward to navigate - with walk patterns between bed and perimeter walls very narrow, and no ( apparently) room for dresser or refrigerator. Walk down to/ from lobby for ice? Bummer. Exterior window's slide up/ down mechanism, in my room, was broken. Pripped open the window with ice bucket. Shower ( hot/cold) water faucet nozzle came off in my hand. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Location, location, location - was the only memorable ( good) feature. The exterior entey courtyard with seating was well-used and appreciated. We (2 rooms rented) travelled from Orlando, and had/ utilized no vehicle. Door lock key pads very difficult to read - so spend the $ and replace them with legible keypads. Facility was largely quiet. "
