"We got a free upgrade that was nice, it included a kitchen in the room. However the there was food in the fridge and freezer from the prior guests. Parking was overpriced at $50 a day but it is in a garage that was easily accessible. No ice machines, but the front desk was kind enough to bring us a bag of ice. Fraternities are also nearby so you have that to deal with as well Overall was a fine stay. Wouldn’t recommend for the price - could have stayed closer to activities for $100 cheaper when I looked during our stay"

"This hotel was a standout not just because of the convenient location and fair price, but the room was surprisingly spacious and well appointed. It was a family reunion trip and we had a sofa and table, so a great night of cards was had and wonderful memories were made. We even got housekeeping. It was so amazing to come from a long day of sightseeIng to a made bed, a spotless room, totally restocked. So rare post pandemic. There were some issues due to the beautiful renovations going on, but the attentive staff took care of us like family and we were so happy. What a wonderful trip to our nations Capitol! Great location, great staff! Thanks again Diane, Jorge and Elvis! We will be back for sure. I forgot the valet! Great job in and out fellas!"

"Check-in felt very rushed and we were given a room between the electrical closet and the "telephone" room. We were charged $200 for "amenities" with no explanation of what those were and when a $70 charge appeared on my credit card, I was told it was for the Amenities like Water in the room (which is not even Spring Water), premium WiFi (which had warnings of it being very insecure so I did not use it) and a complimentary Cocktail (who knew??). $35/day for "Amenities" was not worth it. On the positive side... the hotel is attractive, the restaurant is nice and the location great"

"The District Hotel was a very quiet and comfortable place to stay. It’s in a great location, which is very walkable. It’s not fancy, like chain hotels, but it was very comfortable for me during my stay. "
