"The onsen was good, but not great. The rooms were not too small, but equipped with very cheep furniture, that showed the wear. I booked superior room and got a Motel 6, with dust covered appliances. The food for breakfast is plentiful, but only a small fraction is edible if you like good unprocessed food. I loved the raw tuna and the scallop broth. I resented the fact that everything was on bad quality plastic: plastic plates, bowls, etc. I think feedlot is an apt, but not entirely...

"This is no luxury hotel— it’s very much designed for people getting on or off the Shinkansen. But it fulfills that purpose very well. Free curry rice in the evening, free (delicious!) breakfast buffet in the morning, coin-operated laundry, clean rooms, and just steps to the station to board your train. Plus you can take a selfie on the bench next to Zushihocky, Japan’s weirdest town mascot, a piece of anthropomorphic Sakhalin clam sushi, LOL."

"函館駅の直ぐ横にあり、電車を利用する人には非常に便利。下にはローソンもある。バスターミナルも直ぐ近く、函館市場や金森レンガ倉庫までも歩きながら色々な店を見れ楽しめた。ホテルのスタッフの人も非常に丁寧で、雨が降っていて、傘の貸し出しまで声をかけて頂き、非常に気がきいていた。 ただ、お風呂が夜遅かったにも関わらず、混み合っていて、脱衣場が狭くロッカーも少ない、ドライヤーの数も少ないので落ち着いて着替えができず、大変だったのが残念です。 部屋に化粧水や乳液、クレンジングもない。一階のアメニティの所にもないです。"
