"All en-suite rims are different. Heavy wooden bed, headboard and furniture. Small en-suite but fully functional and lovely shower. Will definitely stay again."

"A lovely, friendly B&B in the suburbs of Durham. Easy to find just off the A1, handy for exploring the lovely city of Durham. Great home cooked breakfast included in the price "

"Booked the single room which is quite small but has everything and more that you need first thing i notice was how spotless and fresh smelling the room was bed very comfortable and had a great 2 night stay absolute gem of a place for the price will definitely use again"

"If I could give this place a 0 I would. We booked for 14 nights due to a work trip. We ended up spending 1 night in this hotel and left. It was filthy, it was horrid and it was just not up to any standards of a hotel. It seemed like a half way house - disgusting. I have attached some photos. We requested a refund for the 14 days as we only did one day here and we weren't allowed a refund. Expedia wouldn't even refund us. We will not be using Expedia ever again. Do not allow your kids or family...

"The host was great, very welcoming and helpful, however the room was poor, the mattress was old and way to soft, tea or coffee stains around the skirting boards, fridge was dirty"

When I managed to reach the responsible person, they sounded frustrated on the phone, as if it was my fault they hadn't fulfilled their responsibilities properly The advertisement was ambiguous, and I wasn't aware that the bathroom was separate. Additionally, the room wasn't clean, and the towels provided were dirty, so I had to get my own. The heating wasn't functioning, and it was uncomfortably cold. "Property itself inside was clean and tidy - this property is obviously a work in progress and would love and visit again in say 6 months to see how far things have progressed.. rooms themselves are immaculate and definitely underpriced.. do need to look at the entry system for the property as front was not working and the back was erratic.. overall though was very impressed at the facilites on offer and location is superb.."
