"This is a beautiful hotel, just renovated and reopened in March 2025 in one of Stellenbosch’s oldest wineries. We enjoyed the knowledgeable wine tasting by Sommelier Tyson who also assisted us with a fine wine at the charming open kitchen restaurant. Everything is farm to table, fresh and excellent. Enjoyed the walks and the art installations as well. The service was so outstanding, we only had to mention we needed something to have someone immediately appear to help."

"This has to be one of my favourite hotels ever. Richard Branson does not disappoint with his focus on customer service and the details that elevate your stay. We were greeted with a cocktail and a tour of the facilities which included tennis courts, a gym, a pool and a spa. The rooms were stunning with a massive soaker tub and floor to ceiling doors opening to a private deck with a swing chair and loungers overlooking the hills of Franschook. There was a beautiful dining room overlooking the vineyards and breakfast was included with a large buffet and an à la carte menu. After Check out we were encouraged to stay and enjoy the property as long as we wished. We even rearranged our itinerary so we could spend more time there. The staff were very attentive and made us feel that anything we asked was possible. "
