This condo really has it all! There's plenty of parking available right in front of the unit, and although it's on the 2nd floor, there's a ramp up to the door (no stairs required). The unit is technically two bedroom, but everything is so spacious it feels much, much larger! You walk into a large dining area that attaches to a spacious living room. The kitchen looks out into the open floor-space. Both bedrooms are large and very comfortable, and the pull out day beds in the living room mean you could easily sleep 8 adults. If some of your crew are kiddos, or if you brought some air mattresses (lots of floor room for them), you could easily fit more. Beyond the beautiful, updated, and CLEAN unit itself, you also get to utilize all of the fantastic resources of the Emerald Isle Resort! There's a beautiful pool that the unit's balcony looks directly over. This pool is PERFECT for kids - sloping entrances into the shallow end. And a nice hot tub for adults! The pool is lit up in pretty colorful lighting at night, for a very nice view. Immediately past the pool is the lake, which means that the unit's view encompasses both the pool and the lake. A short walk down the sidewalk that lines the lake leads to a fantastic sandy beach area with sun chairs, kayaks, bicycle boats ready for your use! There's also a tennis court, basketball court, and shuffle board court right next to the beach. You'll find a key in your unit that you can use to get into the storage unit by the beach to get any balls or rackets or life jackets that you'll need for your fun-filled day. And to top everything off, there's plenty of fantastic restaurants nearby (a great Mexican restaurant just across the parking lot even), and a grocery store about a half mile away. So really, I can't imagine what else you could want in a rental like this. We highly, highly recommend staying here. You absolutely won't regret it!
PS - If you do stay here, wake up early to watch the sun rising over the lake from the balcony of the unit. Each morning we were there (late September), the ENTIRE sky was lit with deep pinks, purples, and reds. It was truly beautiful and not something to miss!
