Outstanding option in Hot Springs

Fabulous cottage, perfectly located in Hot Springs. Great place to stay and enjoy the town, the A-T, the river, the Resort/Spa. Walking distance to everything and plenty of space for family and friends to spread out. We'll definitely stay at Dorland Cottage on future trips!

PERFECT LOCATION IN HOT SPRINGS NC

The location was perfect to enjoy the AT town of Hot Springs. Within walking distance to everything in the town. Communications with the host was easy and the host was very accommodating. Would recommend this location for a stay in the area.

Loved our stay at Dorland Cottage. Great size, clean, & comfortable. Very convenient location (short walk) to everything in Hot Springs. Would stay here again!

What a great place to stay!

We love Hot Springs, and this cottage matches the demeanor of the town perfectly. It was so nice to sit on the porch and watch the thru-hikers pass by. Can’t wait until our next stay.

Great spot for enjoying downtown Hot Springs!

We were able to walk to restaurants, shopping and Hot Springs Spa from the house. Nice views of the fall colors and a great front porch for relaxing. The dining room table was perfect for an evening of games.

Most convenient stay in Hot Springs

Went for 80's weekend & the house is walkable to everything! Love the vintage craftsman style. Despite being close to the main street it is quiet & the off street parking is a plus. Kitchen is stocked well & dining room is a great gathering place for food or board/card games. Would definitely rent again!

Hiking Haven

This house is a great place to relax after hiking the Appalachian Trail! We section hiked the trail around Hot Springs and enjoyed all the bars and restaurants downtown. All were just a short walk from the house!!

Wonderful house

This house was perfect for us. We were all raised in a small town - and this house was like going home. As siblings we get together at least once per year to hike together. We will stay here again!

Convenient base for AT

This was a convenient base for our day hikes on the Appalachin Trail. Good communication with the manager, and quick response to resolve minor issues. Recommended.

House was clean and well maintained. The owner was super helpful and caring. She even gave us some tips about the town. Would have been nice to add on the description that there is only 1 shower out of the 2 bathrooms.

Our second year here 😊

This was our second year staying at the property- an old manse. It is close to the area our family likes to kayak & to local restaurants. It was unfortunate the dishwasher was broken so we didn’t cook & used paper products for the weekend. A new one is coming this week so it will be ready for the next guests. My husband loves Hot Springs!
