"Personally met in the car park by Fraser who offered the EV charger at a small cost for our car. He explained how the key card and door entry system worked and helped with the luggage. Also escorted us to our room and said he would be contactable if we had any queries. Recommended a taxi service to us by a local company. Offered us an upgrade and breakfast if we wanted. Room and en suite, bright, modern and clean. Within walking distance of the high street. Quiet location and good off street...

"Hotel is very central. Parking is provided a short distance from the hotel itself (opposite side of the high street). Hotel has a boutique feel but is a little prescribed. Staff were very friendly but felt inexperienced - having loud personal chit chats whilst we were trying to enjoy a pre dinner drink in the garden, laughing at 6am outside our open bedroom window, forgetting to bring morning coffee to our room… this coupled with our rooms expense (not the cheapest) and size (nothing special) it...

"We have just returned after a stay in this property. All I can say is WOW! It has everything you need. If you forget any toiletries the owner David has supplied a box in the bathroom with an assortment in. He even supplies eye masks and ear plugs. We stayed in the Spa room the bed was comfortable with extra blankets if needed and black out blinds. The TV showed Amazon prime and netflix. The bathroom is big with a massive jacuzzi bath. The whole property is spotless. I defy anyone to find any...

"Lovely room, nice simple but well stocked self service breakfast, comfy bed, very clean and tidy bathroom. My double room was a good size for me, and the location so near to Poole park is great. "

"We have just returned home from an excellent 5 night stay at Balincourt. Staff were always friendly and helpful. The accomodation was top class and the breakfast options very good. The location couldn't have been more convenient with bus stops adjacent and a pub opposite."

"Very warm and welcoming host, upgraded us to the garden room which was great for us with our dog. Rooms and bed very comfortable and clean, and lovely and quiet at night. We went for the airshow and it’s really conveniently located for this, being just 10/15 minutes walk away. Would definitely recommend including breakfast as very good value and took the hassle out of having to find somewhere to eat first thing. "

"Great little guesthouse in a convenient, if hilly, location! Wasn't sure about the shower room being separate to the bedroom but the thoughtful provision of a robe to go to and from it made it a bit better. Very comfortable bed and a fan provided if room was too warm but I managed with an open window instead. Breakfast was a self service, basic, continental but perfectly adequate with a selection of juice, cereal, bread, packaged croissants and pain au chocolate, yoghurt and fresh fruit."
