The apartment is the only building on a one way street upstairs a very steep flight of steps that can be difficult for anyone to get up to. The apartment smelled of must and was very hot. "Cindy is a really wonderful host and was so helpful. Even before we arrived she contacted me to make sure I could find the property. She even gave us a bottle of wine to enjoy a long with many excellent restaurant and winery recommendations. The home itself is very cozy with a beautiful view of the lake. Fireplace is warm. Kitchen is large with all the cookware needed. Walmart is 5 minutes away for any supplies. Watkins Glen hike was made so much better by staying here. Highly recommended."

"We had a little trouble getting the door code to work but Cate was soooo responsive that it really didn’t delay us much. They have thought of everything- you really don’t need to bring anything with you except clothes (they even have laundry detergent) and food. (And maybe hair conditioner).
