Mappleton is situated on the east coast of Yorkshire close to the town of Hornsea. At low tide you can enjoy a great walk along the beach.

There’s a lot of coastal erosion in this part of the UK and parts of the beach have some remnants of old buildings and walls which make an interesting sight.

"The chalet was excellent clean comfortable everything you need the owners have left nothing out to make it very enjoyable stay excellent value for money and the owners are lovely people, we are going to book again "

No problem if you are out and about most of the time but staying in might be a bit crammed. "Lovely well maintained property, just right for a short break by the sea with our dog. Easy walk along the beach in to Bridlington. Nice and cosy to relax in in the evening."

"I don’t no why I’ve seen poor reviews as Dave really try’s hard to make your stay great.. the position of the B&B is great and Central, it’s homely not fancy but we paid very little to stay here and had a huge quality breakfast. We would definitely stay again, don’t pay very little and expect 4/5 star. "

"I had a good couple of nights here. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. I was upgraded to a double from a single room. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was tasty. It is tucked away in a pretty little square of Hull centre, you’ll feel that you are somewhere else! No offence to Hull, I am from here and do love it but the town centre is not the prettiest! Well worth the money."

"We'd had a bad experience with another hotel requiring us to move at short notice. The service at here was infinitely better. Comfy spacious rooms with everything you'd ask for. Staff were friendly and the food was very good. Breakfast was brilliant and parking availability couldnt be better. Very pleased we stayed here and thank you for having us."
