"We loved our time at this quaint little guesthouse. There's approximately the size of a hotel room with much more charm and convenience. The kitchenette area is perfect for preparing snacks. The view from the window is absolutely amazing especially first thing in the morning. Everything was clean. Sitting by the fire pit at night was absolutely wonderful as well. "We were in town for a wedding weekend. We had a total of 6 adults that stayed here. The wedding was at Countryside Banquet and Catering in Washington, IL. So the drive was simple and under 15 minutes from the Cottage on Columbus . We also enjoyed walking to the restaurants, ice cream at The Daily Scoop and Pour Brothers Craft Taproom as well as the local outstanding bakery, Trefzger’s. Known for scrumptious items but my fav are the thumb print cookies. This is a nice and safe neighborhood...

"Nice neighborhood and parking spaces were big enough for a truck. Property was well maintained and it had a big front porch if you like sitting drinking coffee in the morning. Was disappointed on the house being dirty when we arrived. Floors were dirty and felt sticky.Took my shoes off before entering and socks were covered in dirt just from walking around. Definitely able to hear the people in the upstairs unit when speaking or walking."
