"Bathroom small , shower fixed head , makes it difficult to keep hair dry and controls are behind the door when open so you have to be in the shower to turn on ."

"Really surprised - clean, modern, comfortable, big room. Staff were really helpful. Shower could’ve been better but was fine. Breakfast was standard - all good. Only issue - you have to park in the NCP opposite and it cost about £17 for 24 hours - no hotel discounts or anything. I think it’s cheaper if you download the NCP app first but that’s not the hotel’s fault."

"Great room, very clean and good amenities. Easily walkable to all the city area, and train station. Lots of restaurants and bars within a minute walk. Only downside was it was a little loud until 2 am from the bar down below, but honestly not that bad if you’re prepared for that. Overall I would recommend and stay again!"

"Absolutely beautiful building, set in its own grounds. The building was stunning. The staff were lovely friendly and professional. I left my handbag in the restaurant - didn’t discover I’d forgotten it until after we left the following morning. Returned safe and sound and fully intact! Evening meal at the restaurant was great, Excellent food. Brilliant service. The only things which let it down were the massive whole in the restaurant ceiling which had been temporarily sealed with plastic and wood. Our bin hadn’t been emptied in our hotel room. A few loose tiles in the bathroom. It just felt a little tired and unloved."

"We had a fantastic stay whilst stopping for a concert at the Co-Op live, which it is perfect location for being literally a stones throw away. We even had a view of the arena from our window. The room was very nice, big comfy bed and coffee machine was a lovely touch. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Restaurant was great. We would definitely stay again if ever coming for a concert."
