"2nd stay here and just for 1 night for early flight home via T2 Heathrow .As before its very convenient from arrival via tube/car ,well signposted and then to Terminal for departure Very impressed by all staff from checkin through bar /food and drink in bar and ease of getting extension lead for cpap machine .Everyone was friendly professsional and well trained . Extension lead only available for medical device use but explained tactfully ! Bar was as before very well staffed with good staff -good choice of wines by glass and small plates -I had porkbelly pieces in spicy sauce excellent .Wimbledon final was on and excellent opportunities to watch from almost anywhere in bar . Only negative is that bar furniture eg banquettes /chairs are very tatty and look very tired -its a real jolt since rest of hotel is absolutely spanking smart -I mentioned this when we stayed in january but it does not do hotel credit !Maybe a refurb is overdue or delayed ."

"Comfortable double beds. We didn't know the rooms had built in AC so that was a very pleasant surprise in the 30 degree heat. Staff were friendly and helpful. "

"I really enjoyed my stay there. The Aviator Restaurant as a highlight, especially the patio. Breakfast was great. The rooms were comfortable and the air conditioning a blessing in July. All in all a great hotel"

"Wonderful hotel - apparently it's been recently refurbished. That's according to the taxi driver who took us to the airport. Previous reviews say this hotel is somewhat tired and rundown - IT IS NOT! Our room was wonderful and large (Executive room) which we needed as we had 4 large, heavy suitcases and 4 additional bags. All of the staff were very accommodating - the front desk and bar staff were particularly nice, always refilling me with ice whenever I asked. The hotel has a large FREE parking lot. Short taxi or Uber ride to the train station (25-30 minute walk). Lovely grounds to stroll around. Would definitely stay here again if I'm ever in the London area again! "
