Our stay was amazing! Host was so accommodating and even replenished charcoal and wood pellets for the grills! The view of the lake was amazing. Perfect spot for families and friends to gather
The location and setup of the house was amazing. Our large group especially enjoyed the very shallow beach area with plenty of water toys for the kiddos.
This place was great! We stayed for a weekend for the Ironman with our family and it was perfect! We loved the hot tub, views, and fire pit on the beach!
Beautiful setting on Long Lake, terrific location close to beautiful beaches and Sleeping Bear, spacious yet cozy house with room to gather as well as spread out. We enjoyed the deck, the hot tub, and the dock.

Book now, don’t hesitate!!!
Absolutely loved our stay here!!! It fit our needs perfectly as a group of 4 families with a hoard of kids! Everything was clean, comfortable and you absolutely can’t beat the hot tub, long lake beach access, and sauna amenities. We hope to book again in the future!
We had a great weekend! The house is amazing! Plenty of room and more for our family (12)
We loved the hot tub, steam shower and sauna. I only wish we would’ve booked for longer (next time)
The property manager was awesome as well, got back to me w texts super fast and helpful! Would recommend this place for sure!!
Plenty of space and a beautiful spot to hang out near the Lake. Only downsides were we had a hard time getting heat to one room, and the cable didn’t work which meant no college football. Overall I would recommend!
This house was perfect for my weekend away with friends and family. The location could not have been better! The house was positioned right on the lake, with a fire pit along the shore. There were more than enough beds to sleep all of us. A couple tweaks could be made to tighten the knobs on some of the doors, but that is simple. Other than that, the property manager was super transparent and even came to the house to tighten one of the door knobs!
The only downside of this vacation was that one of the showers was broken during our stay and wasn’t able to be fixed. We were promised a partial refund but then never heard from the owner, even after contacting the host site and property manager. So just beware that if something goes wrong on your trip, you may be ghosted.
Otherwise everything else was really nice. The house was clean. The property manager was kind and responsive. The firepit by the water was our favorite hangout spot and you’re close to cute towns up north but there plenty of fun at the house itself too.
Wonderful spot for our summer vacation! We loved rowing on the lake and hanging out by the campfire. There was plenty of room for everyone, and the many gathering spaces were beautiful and large enough for us to be together. We loved it here.
Enjoyed the beautiful, quiet lake, enjoyed the sauna, nights by the fire pit were amazing. Kitchen was very well stocked. The area has a lot of activities.
This home is perfect for a family vacation the home was very clean and well organized. Our contact Rhonda our contact person was very helpful. I recommend this home.
This house and property offered my family everything indicated. From the accommodating house to the peaceful surroundings. The lake was as tranquil as expected from the photos. Our grandchildren and children found the paddleboat and boards fun and provided expected relaxation. I'm not sure my family could have found a more pleasant place to stay as we wanted quiet. We were able to witness a nesting bald eagle and sandhill cranes. The lake had very little boating traffic and even so, I could never hear noise from it.I would return!
We enjoyed the beach and the ample space to spread out. Some of our struggles were with broken appliances, and fixtures. Some due to age of house which is understandable. The cleanliness was a little bit of a concern too, the coffee pots were not cleaned out, and grill was not clean, nor were there tools available to clean it. We did need to go out and purchase things like foil, and laundry detergent. On a good note, the beach was a blast and we were super happy with the amount of sand toys and activities. The beach and fire pit were 100% worth the stay. The property manager was very easy to reach, and very responsive. She was willing and eager to help.
Steep driveway which wasn't plowed and some couldn't use it at all the first day. In winter this is a primary issue We hand shoveled it with difficulty for whch we should be compensated, and were therefore able to access it the second and third day.

Good location. Check-in was easy. One toilet was inoperable the entire week. Upon arrival, we were told the plumber would be out soon to fix it, but he never came even after asking the manager for updates (we were never told when he would come). One family member left early because of it. Another toilet ran constantly unless we attended to it. The hottest room in the place didn't have air conditioning. The grill was disgusting with heavy oil, grease, and rust all over the grill. It was unusable. We had planned a couple of nights to use it, but canceled our plans for the week. The hot tub was green with algae, and the owners knew about it because a man came out at the end of the week to drain and clean it! Bad service all around on what should have been a great week. For what we paid, I expected a very high standard, but instead was very disappointed in VRBO for the first time ever ( I have used you for many years around the country). This mess should be cause for a partial refund.
Lovely peaceful home that worked perfect for 7 of us on a work retreat. The lake view off the deck was beautiful. There were plenty of dishes and a variety of spices to use as well as plenty of towels! The hot tub was a nice feature and even though we didn’t use the sauna it looked amazing. Rhonda was a great host and very quick to respond to anything we needed.

Lots of space and great location
Overall the house and location were great for three families with kids 7-14 to stay together. Being right on the lake was
nice and having the jacuzzi and canoe and kayak and paddle boat access was fun for the kids, especially since the lake was very shallow and had a mushy bottom. The house is well stocked with linens, kitchen utensils and appliances and sleeping options. The house stayed cool at night and was clean. There are some quirks to the house: no bathroom in the above garage bedroom which also has a steep staircase to get to, some bedrooms don’t have doors or window blinds, the light switches are many and not always clear which one controls what, and separate front and back staircases to get to different parts of the house. Would recommend and would stay here again but would’ve benefited from a floor plan of all three floors to be added to the listing so we could’ve better planned our sleeping arrangements.
The place was amazing and Ronda was awesome. Great communication. Everything was perfect.

Beautiful, rustic and tranquil location, with lots of opportunities for fun for all ages.
This very functional cabin in the woods is an ideal spot for a multi-generational family vacation. The "Golden Pond" aesthetic is pleasing to the older folks, and the experience is enhanced by the younger generations happily learning how to canoe and kayak in a very safe environment. For more adventures, beautiful hiking and biking trails are nearby, as are public access Lake Michigan beaches and the awe inspiring Sleeping Bear dunes. Do yourself a favor and skip Myrtle Beach next year.
Beautiful layout of the house. Lake is nice but really shallow. Decking needs stain. Floors weren’t that clean. Entryway needs a cleaner darker rug, it’s the
first impression upon entry.
The area has so many attractions, we kept very
busy every day. The comforters need to part of cleaning regimen.
