"This is a perfect location to stay in Kona. No need to drive for the Kona strip. They only thing wish was more convenient and it’s really not a big issue is the trash was so far from the room. There is zero staff on site to help and we were responsible of taking out our trash. We didn’t want to leave and empty food boxes because of all the insect repellers that were everywhere. This was a minimal issue compared to the location."

"My family and I had a very nice stay at the Outrigger in Kona. The hotel was close to everything yet far enough away from downtown Kona that it felt peaceful and secluded. We enjoyed the hotel room, the gym, and the beautiful area surrounding the hotel. We had one problem with our air conditioner that was quickly resolved by the hotel staff."

"Very comfortable, clean and quiet hotel with lots of amenities! Great location, very nice beach that they clean every morning, beautiful pool, beach towels you can exchange for clean ones as needed, and much more. If you don’t want the expensive buffet breakfast, King’s coffee shop has excellent coffees and breakfast choices and it is located on the first floor. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you for a great stay!"

"Wow! This property was exceptional - room was a 2 bedroom with king bed in one and two twins in the other (as was requested- so thankful). Kitchen was well stocked with cooking tools/utensils, plates, silverware, etc. Even had a small cooler to use. Was very spacious and so very clean!! Things I did not know - this is a vacation property and at check in the concierge will meet with you to set up a timeshare/vacation rental presentation at one of their properties. This was not something I was expecting or had time for - they were very gracious when I did not want to schedule. Only true cons (just to prep you) - (1) parking is quite a walk from where you will stay - so plan accordingly for unpacking and walking up; (2) and the location is not truly near anything like grocery store, restaurants, etc. All in all - would stay again if I were staying for a longer vacation as it is an excellent home base."

"The staff was great, the security and the morning building maintenance guy are awesome. Took care of our car and maintenance guy keeped the place up looking great. I would definitely come back to this building if I return to the Kona side. What i didn't like were the bugs that are all over the place. Specially at night. Other than that. Our experience was awesome."

"Really loved this space. Right along the shore, free parking below, Da Poke Shack, and a pool as well. Bot located in the heart of Kailua but along Alii Drive to not be too far from the scenery. Will definitely stay here again in the future."
