"We had to move rooms twice because the rooms were dirty. The first room the carpets/floor hadn't been cleaned, there was crumbs of food all over the floor and on the chair within the room. We informed the front desk, who were actually very good, and were told it would be cleaned by the time we were back from a walk. It hadn't been cleaned some 5 hours later so they move us. The second room was the same but also had hair in the sink and bath where the room hadn't been cleaned. Again, I...

"Room was spacious and classically furnished. Some of the furniture, drapery, and lobby finishes were a bit worn, but to be expected in an older, historic hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating and spoke English which made check-in and out easier. I would stay at this hotel again. "

"The hotel was modern and nicely fitted. No wifi. Only wired internet. Would have preferred to be more central, or on a more useful subway line. Also, we booked because it had a pool but the pool was closed until 2 May."
