Excellent stay

We had a very comfortable stay. These are the positives: ample parking, quiet room (even though our room faced the road), kitchenette in room with necessary crockery and cutlery, comfortable bed, fair sized swimming pool, attentive and friendly staff, walking distance Honfleur centre, Lidle over the road, small balcony with table and two chairs, sauna and steamroom, daily emptying of bins and clean towels. Definitely recommend.

We had a fabulous stay at Tulip Inn. The staff were friendly, helpful and responsive. We had a problem with our refrigerator and a replacement was provided immediately. We loved the pool - more often than not we were the only ones using it and the sauna was an added bonus! Honfleur was a short walk away. A perfect stay- comfortable beds and great having the option to self - cater. Thanks for a great stay. We hope to return 😊

Original room had an adjoining room door. We could hear the family next door as if the door was open. We were upgraded to a kitchen style room with a great view of yhe Honfleur bridge. Pizza at the hotel was ok and filled the void. Free parking on site, breakfast not included but available. Breakfast is typical hotel breakfast buffet of scrambled eggs, bacon, breads, pastries, cereal, coffee, etc.

Accessible hotel in Honfleur

Checking in and out in this hotel was quite easy as the receptionists were friendly and accommodating even though communicating with us in English was challenging. We booked a room with a kitchenette and it was spacious; it had sufficient storage to hang our clothes and store our things. Also, the bed was comfortable and water pressure in the shower was great. However, the condition of the room was in dire need of improvement and maintenance .The drapes were stained and dingy, mold on the bedroom‘s ceiling, the heaters and the air conditioning were not working ( they were turned off ), towel warmer in the bathroom was broken. In addition , the hotel is located on the main street, making it an easy driving access to the old town, but, there is no pedestrian crossing from the hotel to reach the sidewalk across the street, this is quite hazardous for pedestrians. Finally, as the hotel offers laundry facilities, it is essential that it mentions that it is with a cost and it has to be arranged during front desk hours.

The room was clean. We liked the two bathrooms. The TV didn't work and there weren't any freebies-soap, body wash. The toilet paper is awful. There was nor free tea and coffee. We were in an upgraded room.

We had 3 nights, lovely hotel. Very easy to walk into town anytime of the day. Clean and comfortable room. Had hoped to use the pool but just didn’t get the time. Had breakfast on our last day as we needed to leave early, Absolutely amazing and the choices were great. Would definitely recommend staying at the Tulip Inn Honfluer.

Very good place to stay for central Honfluer easy to find with free parking and within 5min stroll to the town. small pool but lovley for a dip after a journey. Breakfast reasonably priced with a good selection. Would stay there again.

Beautiful Hornfleur

A wonderful stay, at a wonderful apartment in a wonderfully pretty and interesting town. We booked this as a halfway stop between Nantes and Calais on our journey back to Dover and then onto Norfolk. We are going to return next year to the same apartment and spend a few more days in the very pretty town of Honfleur.
