This newly renovated home is a comfortable oasis right on the Homosassa River. Enjoy panoramic views of the river from the large second story deck, visit with the manatees on the dock or take a short kayak or paddleboard trip to Homosassa Springs, directly across the river from this one-of-a-kind property.  Home features a dock, direct access to the Gulf of Mexico for fishing, scalloping or just cruising.
 
You will find newly remodeled kitchen and bathrooms, new appliances, and furniture!

Favorite local restaurants are just minutes away by boat or by car. Rental includes 2 kayaks and 2 paddle board. Bringing your own boat? Boat launch is only 1 mile away, and there is a private dock at the home to easily tie up during your stay.

This comfortable home is the perfect location for all of your river and gulf adventures. Scalloping, fishing, swimming with the manatees, relaxing in the sun - it’s all right here!

Our original travel plans were unfortunately canceled due to the winter storms in Georgia, but Homosassa truly is our home away from home—and we’re so glad we found this place. This very cute home is perfectly situated right on the water and, unlike many others, it has a small grassy backyard, which we loved.We brought our small fire pit and spent evenings in the backyard enjoying a glass of wine while watching manatees and dolphins swim by—absolutely magical. The Florida room was perfect for the colder days, and it even had a TV that we moved so we could sit outside and still enjoy the football game.During the day, we fished right off the back dock and soaked in the peace and quiet. The sunrises put on the most beautiful sky displays each morning. The house itself was fresh and quaint, well-stocked with K-cups for coffee and all the pots and pans needed. If you enjoy cooking, you’ll just want to bring your own Pam spray or spices.Jeff, the owner, was extremely informative and communicative, which made everything seamless. We had a great stay and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

House was perfect for my trip with friends. Location was right on the water. Communication with Jeff was great. Information in the house was perfect, we even used one of the fliers to book a airboat tour. Morning coffee on the dock did not fail to have a visiting manatee swim by. It was just what I needed to recharge with friends!

Another great stay! Jeff a very hospitable host and easy to get ahold of when needed. (Like when hubby locked us out of the house) . And you can’t beat coffee on the porch watching the sunrise before a day of fishing! Look forward to another last minute trip over soon!!!

Fantastic place! Plenty of room and great location!

Jeff's place has everything you need for a great vacation. The description and photos are accurate and location is just right for boat or kayak visits to the spring and situated in between some great restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet and plenty of parking for two vehicles and a boat trailer.The boat dock was very well taken care of and public boat ramps are just a few miles away where you can put your boat into the water. There were 4 kayaks and 1 paddle board all with paddles. They also had some noodle and snorkel/mask options in storage containers near the kayaks. We saw several manatees right at the dock and the view is spectacular. House was clean and very clear check in and check out instructions.Overall, Jeff's place is fabulous and we couldn't ask for a more attentive host. This is a hidden gem and we hope to stay here again next year!

Manatee Getaway

This property is amazing. The pictures are an accurate representation of what you will find as you step inside this beautiful, riverside retreat. Jeff was a courteous, responsive, and caring host. He was available to answer any and all questions and he also provided recommendations for tours and restaurants. As much as I would like to keep this place to myself, Jeff deserves to hear just how great his little "Fish Camp" is. I appreciate his willingness to share this little slice of Heaven.

Nice clean little house on the water

Overall great stay! House and dock are on the main channel and manatees visible from the high deck. Doors and windows have taken a beating from the storms. Porch is nice and elevated deck has great views. Washer and dryer big bonus. Halls are very narrow as are doorways and tub is a bit short to soak tired muscles . Kayaks worked well enough but only 2 paddles for 4 kayaks. Bring your own life vests as the provided ones run small. Challenging to launch and get in and out of kayaks. Less than 3 mile kayak to the park boundary. King bed is comfortable but double beds are a bit firm. Overall would rent again

Family vaca

Wonderful property. Very comfortable. Stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Enjoyed the kayaks and kayaking down to the springs to see the manatees. Great restaurants nearby. Quiet neighborhood. Loved sitting on the dock watching manatees, turtles, birds. Beautiful location on the river.

Wonderful stay on the River

This property is very quaint and lovely. The owner has thought of all of the amenities and details that may a stay very enjoyable. It’s quiet and the view is beautiful and the dock is perfect for a boat. We will be back. Highly recommend

Quick get away

My family and I stayed at Jeff's place for a quick weekend away. It was perfect. We took the kayaks and paddle boards to the springs and had a great day on the water. The house was clean. The view is beautiful. Jeff was in communication from the moment I made the reservation.

Great quick weekend getaway

Booked last minute fishing trip. Just another awesome trip to the west coast of FL. Jeff the host is very attentive. House was just as described. Even had visit from momma and baby manatee and a peacock. Would rent again!!

A great stay at a great place

We had several houses during our round-trip in Florida and this one was by far the nicest, cleanest and best fitted one we visited. Everything we needed was available and in place. We enjoyed the fantastic view from the property in a very nice and calm neighborhood. We where out with kayaks to meet the manatees just half an hour away. They even visited us at our doc. The owner is extremely supportive and helped us with advice an quickly responded on all questions (and we had many ;) We can recommend the house without any restriction. Really great! Thanks Jeff for all :)
