Walk in the front door to a nicely appointed and decorated large living room, dining room and a huge kitchen. Large screen TV with DVD player. Sliding glass doors open to a large screened in patio.

Laundry room with sink, folding area, washer and dryer with large closets. No need worrying about clothes lasting the whole stay.

Master bedroom - king size bed, walk in closet, with an en-suite featuring a large walk in shower. 55 inch TV with cable. Door leading from the bedroom to the screened in patio.

Friend get away

Very beautiful home, amazing hosts who are very kind and hospitable. The home had everything we needed and more. The location is near beautiful nature preserves, springs, and parks. Restaurants and stores are also in the perfect proximity.

Great Homosassa Stay

We have been stopping at The Freezer in Homosassa every year on our way south. We love the area and local restaurants and bars. Plenty to do in the area. We decided to make a 3 night stay and this house was perfect! The Hosts Joe and Joy were great. We rented a golf cart and the location is perfect for getting around. We will definitely be back!

Home Away From Home

Best stay anywhere ever! Definitely a home away from home in a quiet location but close enough to everything. Extremely clean and the host is wonderful. Will definitely be back.

Great Place Great Location

We have stayed with this host before. Great location, clean, and safe neighborhood. There is two places to eat and have a drink within 4 minutes walking. The Homosassa Springs park just minutes away. We will be staying here again.

This house was perfect for our 5 adults. 3 bedrooms and a lot of common space. It was well stocked with incidentals you would need. Place was clean in a good location and easy to find. We would stay here again.

Wonderful home, wonderful hosts, wonderful experience

We booked our trip many months in advance. This rental was the best home we ever experienced. The hosts met us on arrival and gave us a complete tour of the property. They provided many extras as well as beautiful, spacious living accommodations. They were available any time we needed anything. We were able to enjoy our month long get-away in a relaxing, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We hope to be able to return again in the future.

Birthday weekend

The house is very clean and up to date. It also is stocked with everything you may need, especially the kitchen. My family really enjoyed themselves and was close to all the fun Homosassa has to offer.

This property is extremely well-managed as to cleanliness and the quality of the house and its contents. We all enjoy staying here so much. Joy and her daughter communicated with us regularly to make sure everything was all right.

Lovely!

Stayed for 2 nights in December. Hosts Joy and Mary Lynn were wonderful and got us checked in and thoroughly went thru the house with us explaining where everything was. House is immaculate and impeccable. Kitchen is very well stocked. Very comfortable home and they even had a Christmas tree up. Beds are very comfortable. We won’t hesitate to book again.

Too Short but oh so sweet!!

We only had 2 nights available but we booked it and loved it!!! Owners were amazing to deal with!! Even invited our family of 6 for Thanksgiving dinner. Talk about feeling at home! Was perfect for our family. Lots for the kids to do too! Will return for sure!!

Great Weekend Get away

This is a gorgeous, immaculately kept home. The pride Joy and Mary have in their home comes through. Everything you could need is here and it’s convenient to Homosassa, Crystal River and all the area has to officer. Mary and Joy are a pleasure to work with. We had to work around 2 hurricanes and a mistake in booking by one of our party. They helped us through and we were able to have a wonderful trip. Currently looking at dates for the next trip.

Very nice

The hosts prepared the kitchen for our early family Thanksgiving lunch with extra utensils, decorations and ambiance. The house sits within 1 mile of TONS of things to do and that was helpful. Places to visit: CATTLE DOG CAFE, ISLAND GIRL CRUISES. We can't thank our hosts enough for the hospitality and thoughtfulness with the dinnerware and decorating they did for our trip. It was a hit!!!! Everyone loved it. All in all.....house was superb and I hope we can stay here again soon!!!!

Beautiful, well-stocked home in a peaceful place

What a fantastic vacation home! The hosts are next-level attentive. (They showed us two Nerf water guns for the kids when giving us a tour at check-in, saw that we had three kids, and discreetly dropped off a third water gun the next day!) The house is beautiful and impeccably maintained. The kitchen is fantastic and the master bath might’ve inspired a remodel in my own house! We’ve stayed in a lot of vacation rentals and this is the cleanest, most thoughtfully laid out, well-stocked place we’ve ever rented. It was an easy drive to several parks, and we’d definitely stay here again!

Luxurious House and Perfect Location

This is the BEST VRBO we have ever stayed in. Immaculate (so clean!) and comfortable. The furniture and beds appeared to be new - not your typical garage sale finds. Couch, love seat & chair were all recliners. Pair that with a huge HD tv - great to watch movies together in the evening. We lived on the back screened patio - beautiful yard & again great furniture setup. We didn’t cook, but kitchen had everything you’d need to cook. Even the master bathroom & shower exceeded expectations. Host was wonderful. Great communicator, even brought us home made chocolate chip cookies & coffee cake (thank you Mary Lynn). Would definitely stay again.

Short and sweet

We were able to come for a very short visit and had the pleasure of renting 2 of the Byrd properties that are located next door to each other! We had previously rented the Stilt House and had a wonderful experience so when we visited for my MIL 90th birthday we knew we needed two houses for our large group! Having them next to each other was perfect! This house was where we all gathered for breakfast, lunch, family time and just relaxing after a long day! These homes have everything you need and the Byrd family is available to answer any questions and help you with special requests anytime of day! Each home is awesome and we will definitely be back! The Bryd family are definitely Premier Hosts!

Manatee Birthday Trip

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The hosts are there to welcome you at your check in time and explain where to find everything. I mentioned when booking to the hosts that I was celebrating my birthday as part of our trip and they greeted me with a birthday card, balloon, birthday decorations in the house, and freshly baked cookies. That meant the world to me. The house was spotless and very warm and inviting. The beds were super comfortable and plenty of closet and drawer space for clothes. There was a mirror in the master and in the queen room which was very handy for getting ready in the morning. There was a fully stocked pantry and even basic condiments in the fridge. Bathrooms had plenty of towels, wash cloths, shampoo/conditioner, and soap. Drawers full of plastic bags for snacks in the kitchen, and beach towels for going for a swim in the laundry room. There was an entire basket of local menus and other ideas for things to do. The sofas also have push button recliners with USB chargers which my mother now wants installed in her own home. The location simply can't be beat either for boating activities at the Homosassa River. We had an early morning manatee boat tour with Blue Heaven River Tours (highly recommend) and were only 3 minutes away from the boat pick up point at the harbor. Love, love, love this VRBO and hope to stay again soon.

After staying here for a fishing trip last year, my husband and I decided it was the perfect place for a "whole family" fishing trip! Awesome place!

Beautiful house with everything furnished that you could think of or need. Owner and her daughter took very good care of us. Everything was very clean and organized. This is our second stay at this property and wouldn’t go anywhere else!
