"I loved the friendliness and warm welcome! The room wasn't super clean. The little refrigerator is a bit noisy but I was able to get to sleep. The hot tub wasn't working which I had been looking forward to. The free breakfast was helpful since I had an early morning tour. I'd recommend going to their bar over the neighbor bar."

"The staff are great Front desk clerk during the day was so friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff supplied us with all requested items almost immediately and we're always smiling and polite. The few meals we had at the Gator pub were very good but pricey."

"it’s a really comfortable hotel room with a nice little living room area. The bed was great as well as the Free breakfast. For a very good price I use this as my base to explore Rainbow Springs State Park and Three Sisters Springs in Crystal River. We also enjoyed some great food in the area at Swampy’s and the Blue Gator."

"Charming laid back place that soothes the mind and soul. Peaceful setting, quiet, nature nearby. Full kitchen for use if you choose. Close local watering hole that has food and specials on the weekend within close walking range. A real fish camp with ramp and rental vessels. The hotel has a nice porch and at one end a fire pit for story telling. Being in a historic hotel from 1910."
1-bedroom cottage and private boat dock on deepwater canal close to the springs

"Perfect place to relax and celebrate my wife's birthday. We caught several fish from the dock including a baby stingray; all of which were released unharmed. We intended to bring our skiff but engine trouble prevented that from happening. Lots of beautiful homes on this canal. And lots of nearby amazing restaurants to check out. We recommend Wallace's."

"The house was very cute and clean. The location was great. It was easy to put our boat in the water and explore the river and the gulf. The river was beautiful. We enjoyed kayaking and morning coffees on the dock swing watching the gorgeous nature all around."

"This was our 4th time staying at this house, and we’ve already booked it again for next year! It has become a tradition for our family, and we honestly can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Homosassa.The house is perfect for large groups and families, with plenty of comfortable sleeping arrangements for everyone. The brand-new kitchen cabinets and refrigerator were a great upgrade, the A/C worked flawlessly (which is a must in Florida!), and having a washer and dryer was such a convenient bonus.Outside is where this property really shines. The Adirondack chairs are incredibly comfortable and offer the best sunset views, and the large dock is fantastic for fishing. We spent so much time out there making memories.We did have one small issue during our stay, but the owners and the house manager responded immediately and had it resolved quickly. Their communication and customer service were outstanding.We’ve stayed at several places over the years, and this is, without a doubt, the best house you can rent in Homosassa. We can’t wait to come back next year!"
