"This an exceptional place that we recommend very vividly. We spent a beautiful 4 days with two teenagers. The pool made them happy and it was a perfect base for visiting the Castles of the Loire, quite close to Chenonceau, Villandry, Amboise and Azay-le-Rideau among others. The staff is also very nice and accommodating, they started writing to us a few days before our arrival to make sure it went smoothly. Only great things to say about this place!"

"The stay was perfect in every way. The Park Room that we stayed in was full of antiques, with stunning decor and four shuttered windows that overlooked the the estate, pond and horses, donkeys and cow. The breakfast was very special with the host's homemade marmelade, bread, yoghurt, fresh fruit and eggs from the chateau gardens, local cheeses, pastries. Amazing. Ivana was a wonderful host and was so knowledgeable about the area and local history; she goes above and beyond to make the guests...

"We loved our stay in Gizeux! From the beginning when Manon showed us the apartment through our entire stay, all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the Chateau owner is the best hostess I have ever had, and I've stayed in a lot of VRBO's. I hope to be able to return sometime"
