"Cottage had several black flies inside. They should have had fly traps inside as there were about 5-6 flies swatted. Also the dishwasher had not been emptied out prior to our arrival."

"I have never had a more perfect rental experience. The "Island Gales Cottage" was emaculately clean, beautifully decorated and well stocked for every possible need...both inside and out. It was both cozy, yet spacious at the same time. We were welcomed with fresh baked cookies and lovely fresh floral arrangements, cut straight from the property. We could have spent the entire week just enjoying the front porch, the side deck and peaceful swing and lawn chairs. The owners were very quick to respond to our questions both prior to and during our stay. I also think the rental rate is extremely reasonable for what you get. We would never want to stay anywhere else on Prince Edward Island and would highly recommend it to others."

"This is an amazing property. The home was spotless, beds are comfortable, and it is very well equipped. We stayed for 2 weeks and invited family to join us. It is perfect for 6 people. I chose the home to be close to the Stanley Bridge ceilidhs and because it is located near the center of the island, which makes day excursions in any direction perfect. It is only 1/5 mile (.8 km) from the busy-ness of Cavendish, but you wouldn’t even know it was there. If you want peace in a pastoral setting very close to everything, this is the place."
